An Emergencies Ministry Il-76 took off today from Ramenskoye airport for the airport of Rostov-on-Don to deliver about 25 tonnes of medications for the 47th humanitarian convoy being built in Don Rescue Center.
The medicines and medical items are going to be loaded to the trucks that will join the Emergencies Ministry humanitarian convoy. Soon it will deliver in Luhansk and Donetsk regions foods, medicines, text books, new Year presents for children and elderly people, essentials, necessary to ensure normal functioning of the society.
In all, the Russian Emergencies Ministry convoys have delivered over 55.8 thousand tonnes of humanitarian aid to Luhansk and Donetsk regions since the middle of August 2014.
