Central MD rescue team arrives in Kazakhstan to meet international crew of Soyuz TMA-17M spaceship

The Central MD search and rescue air means were relocated to the operational airfields in Kazakhstan for meeting the descent module of the Soyuz TMA-17M transport and pilot-controlled spacecraft.

The Soyuz search and rescue support mission involves 180 servicemen, 12 helicopters, 4 airplanes and also 18 cross-country vehicles.

The landing is planned to happen on December 11 at 16:10 (MSK). The crew members of the descent module are: Oleg Kononenko (Russia), Kimiya Yui (Japan) and Kjell Lindgren (USA). 

Combat control center the 14 Air Force and Air Defence Army in Yekaterinburg will manage the landing.
