Su-25SM crews from the Southern aviation regiment located in the Kuban region practiced eliminating of simulated enemy surface facilities at the aviation range.

According to the scenario, an illegal armed group was detected in one of the southern regions. Using the data, which had been gained by the reconnaissance aviation aircraft, Su-25SM aircraft took off, moved to the assigned area and engaged the surface targets.

In the course of the exercise, pilots carried out several training flights with launching of unguided rockets and dropping guided bombs. The airstrike caused destruction of POL storage, several depots with weapons and munitions, and manpower of the simulated enemy.

Moreover, military pilots improved their skills in operation the aircraft at different altitudes and complex weather conditions.
