Technodinamika reaffirms that it is good and ready for the global market

Technodinamika Holding Company, a subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation, has achieved certification to the international standard: AS/EN 9100 — Quality Management System. It sends a positive signal that the holding company has what it takes to enter the global market: this certificate is a requisite qualification criterion for working jointly with international customers and for allowing the holding company's enterprises to become part of international cooperation.

The certification audit was conducted by a team from the Russian representative office of leading international independent certification body Bureau Veritas Certification. A certificate Issued by this body serves as a proof that the quality management system in a corporate entity has been tested and found to comply with the international standard, which minimizes the risks and builds customer confidence.

The project for the management-company-based integrated quality management system was launched at Technodinamika holding company in 2014. Its mission is to make the company a player in the global market and to integrate it into the international aerospace community. The certificate entitles the holding company to get registered on the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS) database and to operate on an equal partnership basis with international suppliers like aerospace leaders such as Boeing, Airbus and other international aircraft manufacturers.

"The certification is required to increase the competitive edge of our products, including by cutting quality costs throughout the product life cycle, as well as to break into the global market, said Technodinamika's Chief Executive Officer Maxim Kuzyuk. However here the system both enforces clear-cut mandatory requirements to be complied with and ensures continuous improvement on processes and customer satisfaction."

The certificate we just acquired covers not only the holding company's head office, but its two Ufa-based subsidiaries: UAPO and UAP Gidravlika. In 2016, individual subsidiaries operating as part of the holding company –Molniya, Aviaagregat and Respirator – will be integrated into a single certificate to be held by the holding company. In future the single certificate will encompass all the entities controlled by Technodinamika.

"Credit should be shared between individual employees at the company who handled the integration process and the preparatory work for certification and the teamwork of the subsidiaries, remarked Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Operations, Processes and Quality Alexander Kosov. During the certification process we have substantially improved the performance of the head office and the subsidiaries and ensured alignment between processes."
