The Russian Aerospace Forces are focused on undermining the financial and economic foundations of ISIS, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said on Friday - Interfax reported.

"The main efforts are focused on undermining the financial and economic foundations of ISIS. Fifteen oil storage and processing facilities and 525 fuel tankers have been destroyed," Shoigu told Russian Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin.

He said the supply to the black market of 60,000 tonnes of oil a day has been stopped and the terrorists have lost $1.5 million daily.
