Russia’s Tu-95 Fires Cruise Missile Against ISIL Positions in Syria

On Tuesday, Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Tu-22 bombers joined the Russian military operation in Syria, targeting their weapons against Islamic State (ISIL) militants.

This video shows a Tu-95 (Bear) of the Russian Aerospace Forces fire cruise missiles at ISIL positions.

It was a historic moment for Russian combat aviation as the Tu-95 and the Tu-160 took part in an actual battle for the first time in their history.
