SCAC may deliver about 50 Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft to Indian air carriers

Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) is negotiating deliveries of 50 Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft to India. It was stated by SCAC President Ilya Tarasenko at Dubai Airshow 2015.

“We are working closely with Tata on development of an offset program, which may be offered to India. And we are also considering the possibility of delivering aircraft to the country,” he said.

“We are going to deliver about 50 aircraft; deliveries may be started in 2018. The vehicles will be delivered to different airlines – there is a large pool of carriers,” Ilya Tarasenko said.
