Aeroflot is establishing a joint carrier – Rossiya, with the participation of three of its subsidiaries; the carrier will work in a “medium” segment, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Aeroflot CEO Vitaly Savelyev.

“We are going to consolidate all of our subsidiaries on the basis of Rossiya, except for Aurora and Pobeda: Rossiya, Donavia and Orenburg Airlines (Orenair). This refers to a medium segment,” Savelyev said.

He added that Aeroflot would have integrated Transaero into this joint carrier too.
