Sukhoi SuperJet 100 intended for Thai customer performed its maiden flight

Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft (MSN 95093) performed its maiden flight at the airfield of Komsomolsk-on-Amur aviation plant (part of Sukhoi Holding Company); the aircraft will be delivered to Thailand, Interfax-AVN reports with reference to a source close to the enterprise.

“The flight was successful. The crew was satisfied with functioning of the aircraft equipment and systems,” the source said.

According to him, this aircraft will be delivered to Thailand. “This is one of two aircraft in VIP configuration, purchased by Bangkok for the family of the King of Thailand,” the source added.
