S7 Airlines, a member of the oneworld® global aviation alliance®, increases the number of destinations in Greece and opens in the summer schedule 2016 flights from Moscow to Thessaloniki. Air tickets are already available for purchase.
S7 Airlines will operate direct flights between Moscow and Thessaloniki from the 1st of May 2016 three times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Flight S7-701 will depart from the Moscow Domodedovo Airport at 06:55, and arrive at the Airport of Thessaloniki at 10:10 local time. Return flight S7-702 will depart at 11:00 and arrive at the Domodedovo Airport at 14:10.
Flights to Thessaloniki will be operated on modern comfortable Airbus A319 liners, designed to carry 134 passengers in the economy and business class cabins.
“During the summer period S7 Airlines operates flights from Moscow to Athens. Now our passengers can conveniently travel to North Greece, including popular Halkidiki resorts. In the summer schedule 2016 we will offer several new flight destinations. Earlier we opened sale of tickets for flights to Spanish Malaga and Ibiza, which will be also operated starting from spring 2016”, Igor Veretennikov, S7 Group Strategy Director, says.
Thanks to the code-share agreement between S7 Airlines and Aegean Airlines passengers travelling to Athens on S7 Airlines own flights with a connection at the Airport of Athens can go to Greek islands: Crete (Chania, Heraklion), Rhodes, Mykonos, Thira, Lesbos (Mytilene). As a part of the agreement the airlines also perform partner flights from Moscow to Athens, Heraklion, Rhodes Island, and from Moscow and Saint Petersburg to Thessaloniki.
