The Board of Directors of Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Company (VASO) approved provision of two credits (total amount is 70,822 million rubles) to Irkut Corporation, Finam reports with reference to VASO.
The credits will be provided in the network of the innovative project for development and production of new high-tech MS-21 aircraft family comprising short- and medium-haul single-aisle airliners.
50 million will be allocated for construction and reconstruction of production facilities aimed at launching the production of MS-21 components at VASO. The rest 20,822 million will be spent on equipment. The latter loan must be repaid in late 2017, while the credit intended for construction and reconstruction of the production facilities – in late 2018.
