On the eve of the 80th anniversary of Irkutsk aviation plant (subsidiary of Irkut Corporation) a large group of the enterprise’s employees were praised with state awards, the corporation’s press-service reports.
"In accordance with the order of the President of Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the following employees were awarded with the Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” (Class II): design-engineer Tatyana Baldorzhieva, deputy workshop supervisor Boris Bril, section manager Anatoly Butakov, inspector Tatyana Drozhina, milling machine operator Boris Kanya, fitter Alexander Korovin, engineer Albina Kralko, group supervisor Vladimir Okolovich, sealer Anatoly Slavnov, chief operating manager Sergey Urvachev, foreman Alexander Khramtsov, deputy workshop supervisor Igor Yushkin", - said in the press-service’s statement.
According to the order of the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation, Denis Manturov, the following employees were awarded the title of “Honored worker of the aircraft industry”: fitters Sergey Ivanov, Vladimir Leonov and Marina Leonova. The “Honored machine builder” title was awarded to fitters Vasily Kuntsa and Vladimir Nikiforov as well as machine set-up man, Alexander Yavorsky. 42 employees were awarded with certificates of appreciation and commendations by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Minister of Defense, Sergey Shoygu, awarded production manager Sergey Vasilenko, deputy head of administration Evgeny Komarnitsky, head of design bureau Alexander Samorodov, chief technical officer Alexander Sergunov and shift supervisor Pavel Yakovlev with the Medals “For strengthening the comradeship-in-arms”. In accordance with the order of the Minister of Defense, the following employees were awarded with Medals “For Labor Valor”: Tamara Kiprinaya, Irina Sadovskaya, Oleg Sobolev, Yekaterina Shumkova. 10 employees of the enterprise were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
President of United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Mikhail Pogosyan, took part in the solemn ceremony and congratulated the plant’s employees with the anniversary. Mikhail Pogosyan said: «This year many enterprises of the aircraft industry celebrate their anniversaries. All of them were established in 1930s, when the development of the national aircraft industry was started. Irkutsk Aviation Plant is one of the largest and most advanced UAC enterprises. At present it is successfully fulfilling the State Defense Order and manufacturing civil products».
