A number of African countries are interested in purchasing Yak-130 operational trainers, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the head of Rosoboronexport’s delegation at Africa Aerospace and Defense 2014, Yuri Demchenko.

"Preliminary analysis shows that the countries of this region are ready to purchase Russian-produced  helicopters and aircraft, including Yak-130 operational trainers and all the models of helicopters developed and manufactured by Kamov Design Bureau and Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant", — Demchenko said.

Moreover, Africa is interested in purchasing air defense systems, including the ones demonstrated by Almaz-Antey. "Special attention was paid to simulators, training aids and start aids", — the head of the delegation added.
