Kalininsko-Solnsevskaya subway line of the Moscow Metropolitan Rapid Transit System (Moscow Metro) may be extended to Vnukovo airport, Prime reports with reference to Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development and Construction, Marat Khusnulin.

"If we have enough funds, the subway line may be extended to Vnukovo airport by 2019", - Khusnulin said. He noted that this subway line will reach Novoperedelkino in 2017 and it will take two more years to extend the line by 4 or 5 km to Vnukovo.

He added that the design solution used during construction of the subway line allows extending it to Vnukovo.
