The Ministry of Industry and Trade lobbies for additional subsidies for carriers operating Tu-204 and SSJ 100 aircraft on routes to Crimea, Prime reports with reference to Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Yuri Slusar.

"We are discussing implementation of Tu-204 program in favor of carriers, which perform flights to Crimea, - he said. – In order to avoid repetition of the situation with Dobrolet we think that the carriers must operate Russian-produced aircraft on routes to Crimea. Our idea: the carriers, which operate these aircraft, should receive additional subsidies used for maintenance of the Russian-produced aircraft", - Slusar said.

The results of operation of Tu-204 aircraft by Red Wings in the network of summer schedule demonstrate that “the jets are in demand; the passenger load factor is 100% on flights to Crimea and back. If we had more jets we would be able to transport more passengers”, he added.
