Federal Air Transport Agency has unveiled the statistics on passenger and cargo traffic of Russian airlines for 7 months of 2014.

During the period from January to July 2014 the Russian airlines transported a total of 52 207 810 passengers (+11.4% as compared to the same period of 2013); the passenger turnover was 135 985 072,33 thousand passenger-kilometers (+7,7%), the cargo turnover - 2 796 167,89 thousand ton-kilometers (-2,8%).

As for July statistics, the passenger traffic of Russian carriers was 10 742 431 passengers (+13,5%); the carriers transported 91 533,62 of cargo and mail (+8,5%).

In addition, Russian carriers have transported 566 417,56 tons of cargo and mail during the period from January to July 2014 (+0,9%).
