Vice-premier of Russian Federation, Dmitry Rogozin, said that Russia may take part in other international manned flight programs after completion of ISS program. For example, Russia may participate in a joint project with China, RIA Novosti reports.
"Possibly, we will have new projects in the area of manned space flights. Possibly more partners will be involved in these projects", — Rogozin told the journalists. He did not rule out cooperation with China.
"We will hold negotiations with our Chinese partners at EXPO exhibition to be held in Harbin in late July. We will discuss potential new projects in the area of manned space flights", — Rogozin said.
He added that Chinese space industry is on the upswing. He reminded that the government instructed the Federal Space Agency to elaborate plans related to new formats of deep space exploration in June. This refers to flights, which may be performed from Vostochny cosmodrome.
