“As of today” the terms of contract with Russia for delivery of Mistral helicopter carriers have not been changed. It was stated by the president of France François Hollande during his visit to Germany, ARMS-TASS reports.

"This contract was signed in 2011. Its implementation is in progress and it will be completed in October. As of today, its terms have not been changed", - the president of France said.

The contract for construction of two Mistral-class amphibious assault ships worth €1.2 billion was signed by Russia and France in 2011. The work is being carried out by a consortium comprising DCNS company (France) and United Ship-building Corporation (Russia).
