Another An-148-100E aircraft (MSN 42-09, tail number RA-61722) performed its maiden flight in Voronezh Region. It is the 22nd serial jet of the type manufactured by Voronezh Aircraft Production Association (VASO), e-Mash reports.

This jet is the third one manufactured under a contract with Russian Ministry of Defense and the first one manufactured by VASO this year. In accordance with the contract signed in May 2013, VASO must deliver 15 An-148-100E liners (basic version seating 75 passengers) to the Russian air forces by the end of 2017.
