Federal Air Transport Agency has unveiled the statistics on passenger and cargo traffic of Russian airlines for 2 months of 2014.

The passenger traffic of Russian carriers in January and February was 11 024 734 passengers (+9.7% as compared to the same period of 2013). The passenger turnover of the airlines was 31 261 144,94 thousand passenger-kilometers (+7.4%); the cargo turnover - 645 520,26  thousand ton-kilometers (-8,4%).

As for February statistics, the passenger traffic of the carriers was 5 189 766 passengers (+8.9%), the cargo traffic was 65 622,94  tons (-4.8%).

In addition, Russian carriers have transported 132 653.58 tons of cargo and mail in January-February 2014 (-4.7%).
