Transaero Airlines decided to cancel fuel surcharge for passengers purchasing tickets on international flights via the carrier’s website or at its ticket sales offices, the carrier’s press-service reports.

“The clients who decide to make use of the offer can get tickets at lower prices. Fuel surcharge (calculated in euros) depends on the distance of flight and destination. Under the difficult economic situation, caused by external factors, Transaero is doing its best to keep its service affordable for the customers. First of all this refers to the passengers performing international flights, because fares are calculated on the basis of ruble to euro exchange rate set by IATA every week,” the company explained.

The carrier’s new special offer is also aimed at increasing the affordability of its services. Passengers, who purchased business class or premium class tickets on flights from Moscow to London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Vienna, Paphos, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Odessa, Barnaul and Simferopol in 2014, will get a discount (up to 30%).

The special offer covers tickets on flights scheduled for the period from January 18th to March 28th 2015. The special offer is also valid for premium economy class tickets (Y). Passengers having such tickets can enjoy higher level of comfort during flight – they are serviced in accordance with business class standards. More information is available at Transaero website.

The special offer is not valid for the following flights: from Moscow to USA and EU (February 10th – February 13th and from March 19th to March 25th) and return flights (January 18th, February 14th - February 17th and March 9th - March 15th), Transaero noted.
