Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) is negotiating with India on opportunities for industrial cooperation, including customization of Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft by Indian enterprises, Prime reports with reference to SCAC Senior Vice-president, Evgeni Andrachnikov.

Andrachnikov is responsible for sales in the SCAC. He said that cooperation might be established in the network of “Made in India” state program; Tata and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited may become partners of SCAC.

“Together with the Indian government we are going to establish a working group, which will define possible areas of cooperation between SCAC and Indian partners, which will help us enter the Indian market,” Andrachnikov said.

Prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, announced the start of “Made in India” state program in September 2014. The program is aimed at increasing the share of the national industry in the country’s GDP from 15 to 25% using the state support.
