Technical problems of Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft will be solved in 2014, Gazeta.ru reports with reference to Senior Vice-President of Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), Andrei Nedosekin.
«Since the beginning of commercial operation of SSJ 100 liner in 2011 three major technical problems were reported: the first one connected with air conditioning system, second one – with nose landing gear extension control system and the third one – with slat extension. Upgrade of the operated SSJ 100 liners required to solve the abovementioned problems will be completed in late December 2014. New aircraft of the type do not have such problems,» Nedosekin said.
Nedosekin added that Russian carrier Red Wings would take delivery of three new SuperJet 100 aircraft soon.
«So the airline will be able to put the jets into operation this year barring any delays,» he said.
