The passenger traffic of Russian airlines for 2014 will be around 95 million passengers, Interfax reports with reference to Russian Minister of Transport, Maxim Sokolov.
"This year the passenger traffic of Russian airlines should reach 95 million passengers. This is the absolute record," the Minister noted, adding that this figure demonstrates the affordability of air transportation. According to Maxim Sokolov, this year the domestic passenger traffic in Russia will increase by more than 19%.
Last year Russian airlines increased their passenger traffic by 14% (compared to 2012) to 84,433 million passengers.
