Aeroflot took delivery of two new Sukhoi Superjet 100 liners in FULL configuration manufactured by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), the carrier’s press-service reports.
“The liners were named after Soviet pilots: Mikhail Vasilievich Vodopyanov (tail number RA-89041) and Boris Pavlovich Bugaev (tail number RA-89028). New Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft were delivered to Aeroflot under a financial lease agreement with Sberbank Leasing. The aircraft feature two-class cabin layout seating 87 passengers (12 seats in business and 75 ones in economy class). Its range is 2,400 km,” Aeroflot noted.
The jets in «FULL» configuration are fitted with a new Flight Management System (FMS) and a weather radar with wind shear as well as a system for wireless transfer of aircraft and engine health data. This version is also fitted with additional video control cameras, separate lighting and air conditioning controls both for economy and business class and an additional station for flight attendants. The number of galley modules was increased; they are fitted with larger ovens.
