In November S7 Airlines celebrated its fourth anniversary of joining the global airline alliance - oneworld. On November 15th 2010, S7 Airlines became full member of the alliance and partner of the world’s leading air carriers, S7’s press-service reports.
“Today the alliance comprises 15 world’s leading airlines – partners of S7 Airlines: airberlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, TAM, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, SriLankan Airlines. Passengers of S7 Airlines can travel with comfort to almost any destination in the world at good prices offered together by members of the alliance. The route network of oneworld alliance includes over 1000 cities in 150 countries. Passengers have an opportunity to go round the world choosing convenient flights and cities for stops due to good round-the-world Global Explorer fares offered by the alliance. Over the last four years S7 Airlines signed codeshare agreements with ten alliance members. Over 120 codeshare flights operated by other oneworld airlines are performed daily,” the airline noted.
Frequent flyers of S7 Airlines highly appreciated the advantages offered by the alliance. Members of S7 Priority program can earn miles flying with S7 Airlines and its partners and get award tickets on any flights performed by oneworld member airlines. Over the last four years, S7 Priority members spent 233,727,500 miles on awards tickets issued by oneworld airlines flights.
