Director of department of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Russian Federation, Dmitry Belanovich, said that Russia may provide Mexico with its ecotechnologies in the network of construction of a new airport in Mexico City, AIF.ru reports.
«We have discussed the matter with the Ministry of Natural Resources of Mexico and they told us about plans for construction of one of the most advanced airports in the world. “Green technologies” will also be used during construction of the Mexico City Airport», - Belanovich said.
He also said that Russia has already told Mexican colleagues about using these technologies during preparation for Sochi – 2014 Olympic Games.
Construction of the new airport will cost around $13 billion. «We will be glad to take part in the process, we have a solid experience in this area», - Belanovich said.
