S7 Airlines introduced new service for S7 Priority members

S7 Airlines, member of oneworld global alliance, offers a new service for the S7 Priority frequent flyer program members. Now they may purchase award tickets via the carrier’s website and pay for it with miles from their account, the airline’s press-service reports.

“In order to purchase an award ticket (similar to purchase of common tickets) an S7 Priority member should enter the route, flight dates and number of passengers in the search box located on the main page, and then choose miles as currency. In search results the ticket cost will be shown in miles along with taxes and charges that must be paid in rubles. Miles will be debited automatically from the account of the S7 Priority member. In order to purchase an award ticket the member of the S7 Priority program must meet two conditions: he must have enough miles on his account; he took at least one S7 Airlines flight this year (or last year) being a member of the program and the ticket was eligible for mileage accrual,” said in the S7’s statement.

The award ticket may be issued not only in the name of the S7 Priority member, but also in the name of any other passenger. During each calendar year award tickets may be issued in the name of other passenger only 10 times or less.
