Sukhoi Holding Company delivered another batch of Su-34 bombers to Russian air forces. The handover ceremony was held at Novosibirsk Aviation Plant named after V.P. Chkalov (NAZ), press-service of Sukhoi Company reports.

«The enterprise has reached its maximum output. State contract with the Ministry of Defense for delivery of Su-34 jets during the period until 2020 provides the plant with stable workload for years to come and assures its development. At present the aircraft are successfully operated by military units and the vehicles demonstrate solid operating performance», - the company’s press-service noted.

The aircraft were delivered under a large contract signed in 2012. The previous five-year contract signed in 2008 was implemented in December 2013. These are the largest contracts for delivery of combat aircraft specified in the State Arms Program for 2011-2020. The jet’s range is 4000 km, maximum flight speed – 1900 km/h, payload – up to 8 tons. The aircraft are fitted with the latest weapons and aerial refueling system.

We remind you that on October 10th 2014 in the network of the Day of acceptance of defense products Sukhoi delivered a batch of Su-35S and Su-30M2 jets to Russian air forces. The handover ceremony was held at Komsomolsk-on-Amur aviation plant named after Y.A. Gagarin (another branch of Sukhoi Company).
