Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation: Russia has 20% share in global military helicopter market

Russia has 20% share in global military helicopter market, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, Alexander Fomin.

"Our helicopters are very popular and they demonstrate great aircraft performance. We have about 24% of the global military helicopter market, 35% of the combat helicopter market and about 50% of the military-transport helicopter market",- Fomin said at a ceremony dedicated to obtaining a license to carry out foreign trade activities in the area of defense products by Russian Helicopters Holding Company; the event was held in the headquarters of Rostec State Corporation.
