Antonov State Enterprise plans to assemble 12 An-148/158 regional aircraft in 2014, Golos Stolitsi reports with reference to a source close to the aircraft industry.
«The production program of Antonov State Enterprise for 2014 assumes production of 12 An-148/158 regional jets. Almost all the liners will be manufactured under contracts between Antonov and Ilyushin Finance & Co. (IFC) leasing company», - the source noted.

According to the source, 3 An-158 jets were assembled by Antonov in 2013. «All the liners were manufactured under a contract with IFC and delivered to Сubana dе Аviacion (Cuba)», - he noted. «The final assembly of six more jets is underway».

An-148-100 is the next-generation regional aircraft seating from 68 to 85 passengers. Its range varies from 2000 to 4400 km. An-158 seats 99 passengers and has a range of 2500 km.

An-148 program is being implemented under conditions of vast international cooperation: 214 companies from 14 countries are taking part in the project. The serial production of An-148 jets is being carried out by Antonov State Enterprise (Kiev) and Voronezh Aircraft Manufacturing Company (VASO, Voronezh, Russia). An-158 airliners are assembled in Kiev.
