S7 Airlines and Japan Airlines (JAL), members of oneworld alliance, announced the extension of code-share agreement: the carriers will start performing code-share flights from Moscow to key cities of Japan.
"The passengers of S7 Airlines may now take advantage of direct flights from Moscow to Tokyo (Narita airport). The code-share flights on this route will be performed on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays since September 4th 2013. The tickets are already available", - said in the S7’s statement.
Advanced Boeing 787 aircraft owned by JAL will be operated on this route. The jets feature a two-class cabin layout. In the network of the code-share agreement the passengers of S7 Airlines may also travel to other cities of Japan: Sapporo, Nagoya, Itami, Fukuoka and Okinawa with a convenient connection at Narita airport.
Moreover, S7 Airlines is still performing its own direct flights to Tokyo from Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. In the network of the signed agreement JAL’s passengers may also perform direct flights on these routes onboard the advanced and comfortable Airbus A320 jets.
