JSC Kuznetsov completed another stage of test bed firing of NK-33 engine

The specialists of JSC Kuznetsov (part of United Engine Corporation) have completed another stage of firing testing of NK-33 engine, press-service of Rostech corporation reports.

«This time the engine was fitted with a number of new components. The testing was aimed at approving the engine’s performance after implementation of new technological solutions related to the following components of combustion chamber: manifold and new rubber-mechanical goods», - Rostech noted.

Specialists of Aerojet Rocketdyne (USA) have taken part in the engine’s testing. The engine has logged a total of 616 seconds during three tests and successfully confirmed all the required parameters, Rostech noted.
