Three new innovation clusters in the area of rocket and space industry will be established in regions of Russia, Deputy Director of the Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), Denis Liskov, said, RIA Novosti reports.
He reminded that two such clusters have already been established – in Samara Region (on the basis of TsSKB Progress) and the cluster of satellite technologies in Zheleznogorsk (on the basis of Information Satellite Systems – Reshetnev Company).
"The development of innovation clusters is in progress. We plan to establish three more clusters – in Korolev (Moscow Region) on the basis of S.P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation «Energia», in Penza and Voronezh", - Denis Liskov said. However, he did not provide any schedule for these projects.
Innovation clusters are aimed at improving the commercialization of results of work of the national rocket and space industry.
