Following the results of July 2013 the passenger traffic of Domodedovo airport increased by 7.6% to 3.3 million passengers. The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 3.9% to 26 thousand ones, the airport’s press-service reports.

“The greatest increase of passenger traffic in July was recorded on international airlines (+11.1%). The passenger traffic on international airlines was 2 million passengers and the passenger traffic on domestic airlines was 1.3 million passengers (+2.6%). The cargo traffic of Domodedovo airport was 17 thousand tons in July 2013 (+4.1%)”, - the airport noted.

The passenger traffic of Domodedovo airport was 17.2 million passengers during seven months of 2013 (+11.6% as compared to the same period of 2012). The number of takeoff and landing operations increased by 4.5% to 148.3 thousand ones.

The passenger traffic on domestic airlines was 6,9 million passengers (+10.3%). The greatest growth was recorded on the following destinations: Makhachkala, Rostov-on-Don, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Mineralniye Vodi. The passenger traffic on these destinations was 1.6 million passengers (+25,4%).

The passenger traffic on international airlines was 10.3 million passengers during January-July 2013 (+12.5% as compared to the same period of 2012). The greatest growth was been recorded on the following international destinations: Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh, Antalya, Barcelona, and Larnaca. 1,8  million passengers have been transported on the specified destinations during the period from January to July 2013 (+50.8%). The cargo traffic of Domodedovo airport during the period from January to July 2013 increased by 4,1% to 109.9 thousand  tons, Domodedovo noted.
