The seventh Airbus A319 aircraft has joined the fleet of Donavia. The jet was ferried from USA and arrived at the destination airport early in the morning. The aircraft will be based in Rostov-on-Don, the carrier’s press-service reports.
"GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), division of GE responsible for leasing of civil aircraft, has delivered three А319s to Donavia so far. Donavia has been operating these medium-haul jets since July 2012", - the airline noted.
CEO of Donavia, Alexander Steblin, noted that acquisition of advanced aircraft, which meet the carrier’s requirements, will assure the sustainable growth of the company’s business performance factors and will help provide the highest quality of service.
Airbus А319 has a two-class cabin layout seating 132 passengers (12 seats in business class and 120 seats in the economy class). The jet is fitted with 138 seats in a single-class configuration. The aircraft’s range is 5500 km.
