A contract for delivery of six Sukhoi SuperJet 100LR aircraft to UTair Aviation was signed at MAKS-2013

The trilateral contract for delivery of six Sukhoi SuperJet 100LR aircraft was signed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), VEB-Leasing and UTair Aviation at MAKS-2013 airshow. The deliveries will be started in 2014.

In accordance with the contract, VEB-Leasing will purchase six Sukhoi SuperJet 100LRs from SCAC (total list price of the jets is $217,2 million) and then hand them over to UTair under financial leasing agreement.

The contract was signed by CEO of VEB-Leasing, Vyacheslav Solovyev, First Deputy Director General of UTair Aviation, Andrey Ilmenski, and President of SCAC, Andrey Kalinovsky.

This contract was signed in the network of a leasing agreement signed by the parties earlier.


UTair plans to operate the Sukhoi SuperJet 100 aircraft on domestic (in Western Siberia and European part of Russia) and international routes (flights to Europe). The pilots, flight attendants and maintenance personnel will be trained at Zhukovsky-based training center.

The maintenance of these SSJ-100LR jets will be carried out by SCAC’s personnel in cooperation with SuperJet International and PowerJet.
