Concern PVO Almaz-Antey will showcase a number of new products at MAKS-2013 airshow for the first time, including S-350E medium-range air defense system, the concern’s press-service reports.

«S-350E outmatches its foreign rivals in terms of performance. It will replace currently operated S-300 systems. It is intended for protecting the administrative, industrial and military facilities from massive air attacks with the use of advanced air weapons, including the ones with stealth capabilities, tactical and theater ballistic missiles», - the press-service noted.

The visitors may also take a look at standalone combat module of the short-range air defense system «Tor-M2KM», installed on a chassis manufactured by Tata Motors (India). This system has been developed by Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol. The enterprise believes that the system may be of interest for potential foreign customers.

A new multi-role radar facility 55Zh6ME, three-dimensional medium and high altitude radar station 55Zh6UME and weapon-locating radar system Zoopark-1M will also be demonstrated at MAKS-2013.

«The concern will also showcase some of its state-of-the-art military products at the static display: S-300VM (Antey-2500), Buk-M2E and Tor-M2E air defense systems; Baikal-1ME and Fundament-MAE tactical data systems, compact 1L122E radar station, man-portable battlefield surveillance radar with a panoramic display Fara-VR, trainer for operators of Tor-M2E air defense systems, etc.», - said in the statement.
