Strizhi, Russian Knights and Berkuti aerobatic teams will open demonstration flights at MAKS-2013 airshow, the official representative of Russian air forces, Colonel Igor Klimov, told RIA Novosti.

He noted that all the aerobatic teams will perform every day during the period from August 27th to September 1st. At present they are performing practice flights at the airfield of Gromov Flight Research Institute (Zhukovsky, Moscow Region). The full rehearsal was scheduled for August 24th-25th.
"During more than 30 minutes the pilots of Strizhi and Russian Knights teams will demonstrate solo, formation and head-on pilotage. They will perform the following aerobatic maneuvers: roll, vertical loop, zoom and sharp turn. The pilots perform flights at altitudes from 50 to 1500 meters", — Igor Klimov noted.
The pilots of Berkuti aerobatic team operating four Mi-28N helicopters will demonstrate the following aerobatic maneuvers: nose-down combat turn, sharp turn, reform and break up. The helicopters moved from Torzhok to Klin for the period of MAKS-2013’s work. Sokoli Rossii aerobatic team (operates Su-27 fighters), in its own turn, moved from Lipetsk to Kubinka (Moscow Region), where Strizhi and Russian Knights are deployed, Igor Klimov said.
