VEB-Leasing will finance the purchase of 6 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft by Aeroflot

VEB-Leasing and the Russia’s leading carrier, Aeroflot – Russian Airlines, have signed an agreement for financing the purchase of 6 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, VEB-Leasing’s press-service reports.

"In accordance with this document, VEB-Leasing will finance the purchase of 6 new jets powered by GE90-115BL and then hand them over to Aeroflot under a financial leasing agreement. The jets will be delivered to the customer in the first half of 2014", - said in the VEB-Leasing’s statement.

VEB-Leasing and Aeroflot are long-standing partners having a solid experience in the area of financing the purchase of aircraft. The implementation of this agreement will contribute to expansion of Aeroflot’s fleet and development of its route network, the company noted.
