Gazpromneft-Aero increased the overseas refueling for Volga-Dnepr Group tenfold

Gazpromneft-Aero and Volga-Dnepr Group have signed an agreement on provision of refueling services for cargo flights at 26 foreign airports, press-service of Gazpromneft-Aero reports.

“For the first time ever the company will provide refueling services for the carrier’s aircraft at 17 new airports located in countries with increasing goods turnover: India, UAE, Vietnam, Thailand, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Spain, Serbia and Cyprus. The contract was signed for the period of 1 year; it assumes that the amount of fuel supplied to Volga-Dnepr Airlines and AirBridgeCargo Airlines (both part of Volga-Dnepr Group) will increase tenfold. The fuel will be supplied through Gazpromneft-Aero’s overseas network, which comprises over 100 airports. Total volume of supplied fuel during this period will reach 15,000 tons”, - the press-service explained.

Gazpromneft-Aero provides refueling services for the airline’s international flights in partnership with direct suppliers of aviation fuel, including Eni (Italy), Hindustan Petroleum (India) and ENOC (UAE).

“Our partnerships with the leading direct fuel suppliers grants high-quality of our services, timely refueling and observance of the pricing formula used at all the airports of Gazpromneft-Aero’s network”, - CEO of Gazpromneft-Aero, Vladimir Egorov, noted.

Vice President for Business Development of Volga-Dnepr, Dennis Gliznoutsa, said: “We have been cooperating with Gazpromneft-Aero for some years and we are glad to see the expansion of capabilities in the network of our partnership. The wide range of countries which meet our requirements and suit the development strategy of Volga-Dnepr Group, a common pricing system for all the airports in our network, and timely refueling of the Group’s aircraft help make the best use of our finances and time and solve our long-term strategic problems”.
