Nagakazu Sagara was appointed Vice President , Japan and Korea, AirBridgeCargo Airlines

Nagakazu Sagara has joined the team of AirBridgeCargo Airlines as vice-president, Japan and Korea, the carrier’s press-service reports.

“The new assignment is part of the AirBridgeCargo’s succession program in the region. Mr. Katsuhiko Sagami, former Vice President, Japan & Korea, will continue to work as Sagara’s mentor until 2014. Volga-Dnepr Group and AirBridgeCargo thank Mr. Sagami for his contribution to development and strengthening of the carrier’s business in the region”, - Volga-Dnepr Group explained.

Nagakazu Sagara has over 40 years of experience in the cargo industry. He started his career as a cargo traffic manager of Japan Airlines (JAL) after graduating from Kagoshima University. He had a successful career in JAL and later he was appointed senior vice-president, Export. Mr. Sagara joined TAS Express, a branch of Toyota, as a strategist in 2010. Later the company was purchased by Mitsui-Soko Express (MSE) in 2012. After that he was appointed CEO of MSE.
