Bolivia plans to purchase two Mi-17 helicopters intended for carrying out counternarcotic actions, Voenno-promishlenniy courier reports with reference to the Minister of Defense of Bolivia, Ruben Saavedra.
According to him, “the Russian governmental commission will arrive in Bolivia in 30 days in order to discuss the delivery of two Mi-17 helicopters intended for fighting the drug traffic». The Minister noted that Bolivia needs these helicopters because USA cut off the funding of Bolivian office of bureau for international counternarcotic actions.
