Russia and France signed the delivery-acceptance certificate of the stern of Mistral helicopter carrier

The act confirming delivery of the stern of the first Mistral helicopter carrier manufactured by Baltiysky Zavod to the French party was signed in the network of International Maritime Defense Show IMDS-2013, Business-TASS reports.

The document was signed by the representatives of United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) and the customer – STX France.

The stern of “Vladivostok” Mistral-type helicopter carrier was floated out on June 28th. It is planned to send it to France by sea on July 8th.

Two Mistral helicopter carriers intended for Russian navy are under construction at the shipyards in St.Nazaire and St. Petersburg. The possibility of purchasing two more ships will be considered following the results of operation of the first two ones.
