The number of aircraft manufactured in Russia doubled during the period from 2007, Vladimir Putin said during a meeting related to the current state and future development of United Aircraft Corporation.

According to him, 104 aircraft were manufactured last year. At present the total value of UACs backlog exceeds 1 trillion rubles. «The state defense order is being fulfilled on schedule, - the president noted. – The first stage of the testing of PAK FA has been successfully completed. The serial production of upgraded transport aircraft Il-476 will be launched soon».
