The certification testing of Rysachok aircraft was started

Technoavia started the certification testing of Rysachok light multi-role twin-engine aircraft. It was declared by the company’s CEO, Vyacheslav Kondratyev, The Voice of Russia radio station reports. 

"We plan to complete the certification testing next year", - Kondratyev said. He said that two prototypes will be taking part in the certification process. 

"Three Rysachok test aircraft have been assembled by the Samara-based TsSKB-Progress so far and the production of a first batch of five turboprops has already been started", - Kondratyev said. 

According to him, Technoavia will demonstrate two Rysachok turboprops at MAKS-2013 airshow: one aircraft will be performing demonstration flights and the second one will be a part of static display. 

Rysachok is the twin-engine regional aircraft. It may be operated from unpaved runways with a soil strength of about 5,5 kg/sq.cm. 

The aircraft is powered by two 750 hp М601F turboprop engines. It may carry up to 10 passengers; its range is 2000 km. The flight speed varies from 250 to 400 km/h.
