The passenger traffic of Aeroflot was over 9,5 million passengers in the first half of 2013

Aeroflot – Russian airlines has finalized the results of June and the first half of 2013, the carrier’s press-service reports.

“The carrier’s passenger traffic was 1 922.9 thousand passengers in June 2013 (+19.8% as compared to June 2012). The passenger traffic on international airlines was 1 106,9 thousand passengers (+12.4% or 122.2 thousand passengers). The passenger traffic on domestic airlines was 816 thousand passengers (+31.5% or 195.4 thousand passengers)”, - Aeroflot noted.

The passenger load factor in June 2013 was 79.9% (+1.5%), while the commercial load factor was 64.3% (+1.3%). Aeroflot’s passenger turnover was 5,3869 billion passenger-kilometers in June 2013 (+20.6% as compared to June 2012). The passenger turnover on international airlines was 3,5073 billion passenger-kilometers (+14.6%). The passenger turnover on domestic airlines was 1,8796 billion passenger-kilometers (+33.5%).

“Aeroflot transported 9,5416 million passengers in the first half of 2013 and its passenger turnover was  27,7744 billion passenger-kilometers. The passenger load factor was 77.1%”, - the airline noted.

The scope of work has increased as compared to the same period of 2012:

+20.2% by passenger traffic (+1,6032 million passengers);

+ 22.8% by passenger turnover (+5,1554 billion passenger-kilometers)

the passenger load factor has increased by 2.3%.
