Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russian Federation has summed up the results of “Best Russian exporter 2012” competition.Irkut Corporation was named the Russia’s best exporter in the “Aircraft industry” category, the company’s press-service reports.

«This is the annual competition aimed at supporting the export of industrial products. The winners are selected in accordance with a special procedure elaborated by the ministry based on analysis of consolidated export reports of the enterprises, - the company explained. – Irkut Corporation was named the best exporter of the aircraft industry for the fifth straight year (since 2008)».

 «We are delivering multi-role Su-30MK fighters and Yak-130 operational trainers to the foreign countries. At present we are maintaining the scope of deliveries to foreign customers at the same level while increasing the production of jets in the network of the State defense order. The growth of deliveries of military aircraft creates the solid basis for implementation of MS-21 program», - president of Irkut Corporation, Oleg Demchenko, noted.
