Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) has delivered the first Sukhoi Superjet 100 in “Full” configuration to Aeroflot, the carrier’s press-service reports.

“The aircraft was named after Valery Sysovsky. Sysovsky Valery Borisovich was a flight engineer, the honored transport worker of the Russian Federation. He was a member of the flight crew that performed the first revenue flight of Il-96 aircraft (SU-315 from Moscow to New York)”, - Aeroflot noted.

Aeroflot and SCAC signed a contract for delivery of 30 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft in 2005. In order to meet the deadlines, the parties have agreed that the first ten jets would have the “Lite” configuration. Later they must be replaced by the jets in “Full” configuration.

According to the carrier, the jets in “Full” configuration (instead of the ones in “Lite” configuration) are fitted with another Flight Management System, weather radar with wind shear and the system intended for wireless transfer of data related to the aircraft systems and engine operation. Besides, the “Full” configuration includes more monitor cameras, separate control of lighting and air conditioning system in both cabins and additional flight attendant’s station. The jet in “Full” configuration also has more catering equipment and two ovens have been replaced with the larger ones. Moreover, it is fitted with air cooling valves with individual adjustments, three lavatories with swaddling tables and each block of seats is equipped with additional oxygen mask. Following the requests of the passengers, the aircraft was fitted with a mounting for flight baby cot.

The delivery of first ten SSJ-100s is being financed by VEB-Leasing in the network of a leasing agreement signed by VEB-Leasing and Aeroflot in 2011.
