United Engine Corporation and Ilyushin Finance & Co. signed a contract for delivery of PS-90 engines to the amount of 415 million rubles

United Engine Corporation (UEC) and Ilyushin Finance & Co. leasing company (IFC) signed a contract for delivery of PS-90A1 engines for Il-96-400 jets to the amount of 415 million rubles at Paris Air Show, Business-TASS reports with reference to the CEO of UEC, Vladislav Masalov.

The value of this contract is 415 million rubles, he said.

The engines must be delivered to the customer by March 2014. PS-90 Family engines power Il-96 and Tu-204 aircraft. The jets are operated by Rossiya special aircraft division, Aeroflot, Vladivostok Air, Transaero, Red Wings, Cubana (Cuba), etc.

Il-76MD-90A transport aircraft delivered to the Russian Ministry of Defense in the network of State Arms Program are powered by PS-90A-76 engines.
